Cleaning Tips for Linear Ramp Sinks

SURFACE AREA:

  • Use warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap. Wipe with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry with a microfiber towel to avoid water spots or streaks.

  • For occasional disinfecting use a 70% isopropyl alcohol spray, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe dry.

  • Avoid leaving bleach or vinegar on the surface for extended periods, as they can damage quartz resin binders and dull granite sealants.

DEEP CLEANING OR STAIN REMOVAL:

  • QUARTZ: Use a non-abrasive quartz cleaner like Bar Keepers Friend (liquid, not powder) or a dedicated quartz surface cleaner.

  • GRANITE: Use a stone-safe degreaser or poultice for stubborn stains. Reapply sealant periodically. We recommend every six months to a year.

  • Avoid using bleach, ammonia, vinegar, or other acidic/alkaline cleaners. Do Not Use abrasive pads or steel wool. Do Not Use harsh scrubbers that can scratch or wear down the surface.

Cleaning Care for Slot Drains

  • Once installed, the area of the Drain Pan should be periodically flushed with hot water and bleach, using a ratio of 10:1 (10 parts water, 1 part bleach). Let the bleach ‘flush’ sit for 5 to 10 minutes, and then flush again with clean, hot water. This will keep the Drain Pan area clean and free of mildew.

  • An alternative to bleach is to use a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. Pour hydrogen peroxide directly into the Drain Pan area, trying to get the solution into all areas of the Drain Pan. Allow to sit 5 to 10 minutes, then flush with hot water.
