Engineered Granite
Engineered granite is a man-made stone used in kitchens as well as bathrooms. It is a hard heat resistant resin colored with pigment and small shards of colored or shiny material to give it a similar look to natural granite. This material is preferred by some as it has ore consistent color than natural stone. Engineered marble and granite is not suitable for extended exposure to sunlight. Engineered Granite is generally more expensive than natural granite.
